As a holistic health counselor, I provide programs and services that allow you to develop the practices and techniques in having a diet that sustains your desired lifestyle. With my support, you will set goals and focus your attention toward the components of the process to effectively accomplish them. I will engage you in a holistic approach that is based on embracing the awareness that all aspects of life are related and part of the same whole. In terms of health, this encapsulates all of the components that allow you to be healthy and happy. If seeking balance, clarity and focus toward maintaining a higher quality of life is your goal, then my services will assist you with this.
Diet & Lifestyle consultation – My 55 minute initial consultation will assess your current diet and lifestyle. We will review your current goals regarding food and influencing factors in your lifestyle, while discussing strategies to achieve your desired changes.
3-month or 6-month health counseling program – Individual programs that include 12 health counseling sessions, weekly or bi-weekly. In addition your program includes: health goal setting, process evaluation, handouts and various resources to increase nutritional knowledge, strategies for increasing energy and creating a balanced diet, and e-mail correspondence between sessions. In-person sessions available for NYC residents.
Group Programs – an alternate offer for those who prefer a group setting. Group programs follow a similar program design to the individual counseling program, while consisting of groups of 4-8 participants.
Guest Speaker – 1 hr to 3 hr presentations. Topics include: “Eating For Energy,” “Gradual Enjoyable Weight Loss,” “Seasonal Cleansing” and others.
